God’s sovereignty assures us that nothing will ever take Him by surprise, catch Him unaware, or slip by Him. There is no detail too small or too big that He does not control. All that He has purposed, He will do because He has absolute, infinite power, authority, and wisdom.

Most of our petitions are far too small because our view of God is far too small.

Our Abba Father is the Almighty, Sovereign Creator of all things. He sustains all things. Apart from Him there is no life or breath. He is omniscient, omnipresent, infinite, eternal, faithful, Lord of heaven and earth, Lord of Hosts, and more. This is the Father to Whom we can boldly, confidently pray to as Father.

It is only by God’s great kindness that infinite creatures such as us can understand by means of the Gospel even a glimmer of an infinite God.

We have boldness and confidence through faith in Christ to fellowship with the Almighty God, sovereign Creator of all there is, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, perfect in love, mercy, grace, faithfulness, compassion, justice, wrath, patience, kindness, who alone is holy, holy, holy.

"God chooses to make His manifold wisdom known through the church, through us, for the purpose of His glory."

God is simple. He is not bits and pieces we can make into our own version of God. He is who He says He is – all of His attributes, all of the time, always in harmony with each other, never changing.
